The 2010 HUF customer club meeting
Michelin-star chef Lea Linster and herbal expert Waltraud Witteler conjure up aromatic treats
For HUF HAUS, the year 2010 is all about the company colour green: In late 2009, the family business from the Westerwald presented a new generation of houses called green[r]evolution that has heralded a new era in energy efficient building and set a standard in the market for environmental and climate protection. With green[r]evolution, HUF HAUS has underscored the sustainable thinking and acting of the family business - this sustainability is also evident in the long-term customer relationships which HUF HAUS maintains through the HUF Club. This year's HUF club meeting is also dedicated to the leitmotif green. When HUF HAUS together with the Michelin-star chef Lea Linster and the herbal expert Waltraud Witteler serve dinner in eleven cities, HUF club members can look forward to extraordinary culinary herbal treats.
For the year 2010, HUF HAUS has come up with something special: at ten events in Germany and one event in Switzerland, the Michelin-star chef Lea Linster together with the herbal expert Waltraud Witteler will organise culinary evenings and present to the participants a new green world of culinary delight.
"We are pleased that in this year our strong connection with nature - the leitmotif of our architecture - is reflected in the series of club meetings," said George Huf, managing partner of HUF HAUS.
Lea Linster, a prominent Michelin-star chef and owner of a top restaurant, will place wild-growing herbs at the centre of her creations at the club evenings. For this purpose, hobby chef and author Waltraud Witteler will lend her support and introduce participants to a world of floral and herbal delights: invited guests will learn how hobby gourmets can tame wild herbs for a fine cuisine in their HUF HAUS kitchen.
"I myself have been living in a HUF House for over 15 years and am therefore particularly pleased to be able to treat and surprise enthusiasts of HUF architecture with my herbal creations," says Michelin-star chef Lea Linster.
