The Invisible roommate - HUF HAUS with Watson
The cooperation between the European market leader for modern post and beam architecture HUF HAUS and IBM culminated today in the presentation of the new show house “Ausblick” ("Outlook"), which was officially opened in the middle of the exhibition centre HUF Dorf in Hartenfels. The filigree bungalow made of wood and glass was designed in cooperation with IBM as a learning house. Thanks to IBM Watson IoT platform, enabled with Artificial Intelligence (AI), the house "learns" the behaviour of its residents to make their daily lives as pleasant, relaxed and safe as possible.
The innovative family business HUF HAUS from the Westerwald attracts attention with its two ground-breaking milestones: Not only the special abilities of the house are unique on the whole market, the construction of the glasshouse is also revolutionary and patented. A mechanical connector transforms glass into structural glazed element without the use of chemical adhesives.
