ART Special sample 5

HUF House with stunning view

With this exceptional home, a couple from the UK turned their long-held dream of a family sanctuary into reality. Together with architect Peter Huf, they created an open-plan ART House that embraces the character of its dramatic coastal setting. Designed in harmony with nature, the house doesn’t stand against the elements – it opens itself to them, absorbing their energy and calm.

‘We envisioned an open concept that allows energy to flow freely and encourages open communication. With Peter Huf’s guidance, we were able to bring this vision to life almost to perfection,’ the owners explain.

Because an uninterrupted view of the ocean was especially important to them, the entire seaward façade is made of glass. The moment you step inside, your gaze is drawn to a breathtaking panorama – the horizon stretching into the sky above, the shimmering sea below. It’s a view that settles into the heart, creating an immediate sense of peace and wonder.

In this video, Peter Huf takes us on an intimate tour of the house, sharing insights into the architectural philosophy that shaped this unique property.

“The house is divided into two clearly defined areas,” the owners continue. “The different rooflines make this structure visible at first glance. This unusual composition not only adds elegance, it also creates a sense of lightness and harmony that you can feel immediately.”

For the couple, their HUF house is far more than an architectural masterpiece of timber and glass – it is a living place where their family grows, laughs and creates lasting memories together. A dream home that unites architecture, nature and emotion in perfect harmony.
